Placement Committee to hold Placement Fair at the February General Membership Meeting

The Placement Committee is looking forward to hosting the Placement Fair at the February General Membership Meeting on February 8th at DeGidio’s. This new and engaging approach is designed to help members learn about their volunteer placement opportunities for next year.

The fair will consist of round table discussions. Committee chairs will rotate from table to table and speak about their committee(s). Each rotation will last about 10 minutes, 6-7 minutes for each chairperson to speak and 2-3 minutes for members to ask questions. The committees will be paired as follows:

• Blue Jeans and Bling / Next-to-New Sale
• Resource Development (Includes Grants & Sponsorship roles) / Headquarters
• Community Projects / Project Research / Advocacy
• Arrangements / Training
• Marketing (Includes Journal and Webmaster roles)
• New Member / Placement / Nominating

Advisors will be available following the round table discussions to discuss placement opportunities with their advisees. No sign up will be required, as this is an optional activity for members.

Junior League members will need to submit their placement preferences on Digital Cheetah by February 18th, the form will be available to Members on February 8th.
