Spring is here and you know what that means for the Junior League of Saint Paul; the annual ASID Showcase home fundraiser is quickly approaching. JLSP will once again partner with Minneapolis Saint Paul Magazine by staffing the Showcase Home for one week in May; in return the magazine will be compensating JLSP for all hours volunteered. This is a truly great fundraising opportunity as JLSP profits 100% from our service hours.
This year’s Showcase Home is located in Edina and will be open for viewing May 15 - June 22, 2009, excluding all Mondays and Tuesdays. A fabulous Gala will kick off the tour, on Friday, May 15th and will feature a 50’s theme with the Vic Valore Band performing. Gala tickets can be purchased for $75. Tickets for the tour are $15 and are available for purchase through many outlets, including Hirshfield’s, D’Amico, Bibelot, Patina, Macy’s and Bachman’s. Both Gala and Tour tickets will be available at the May General Membership Meeting.
In addition, the Showcase Home will host culinary evenings on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and designer led tours sponsored by Caribou Coffee and Salut on Tuesdays. Although there is no need for staffing in the evenings, consider attending one of these deliciously fun events that will sell out quickly!
The Junior League of Saint Paul is responsible for staffing the showcase home May 16-23. Please remember that all Active Members have committed to working one shift at the home. New Members will be staffing the house on New Member Day, Sunday, May 17, and the Sustainer Day will be Thursday, May 21.
